Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
  • Ground lamb - 100 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams (optional)
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Tahini - 30 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, almond flour, chopped onion, minced garlic, cinnamon, allspice, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
  2. Add the egg to the mixture and mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into two patties, making them slightly thicker in the center to ensure even cooking.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together tahini, lemon juice, water, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  6. Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the kibbeh burgers with the tahini sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
