Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Wash and cut the cauliflower into small florets, then steam them for about 5 minutes until slightly tender but still firm.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg until well combined.
  4. Dip each steamed cauliflower floret into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it thoroughly with the almond flour mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, enough to cover the bottom of the pan.
  6. Fry the coated cauliflower florets in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once cooked, place the fried cauliflower on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot as an appetizer with a side of tahini or yogurt dip.
