- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, diced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
- Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4, for wrapping
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)
- Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons (optional)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix until well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties, approximately 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the fattoush salad. In a mixing bowl, combine diced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced radishes, chopped parsley, and chopped mint.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the salad and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the burgers are cooked to your liking, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble, take a romaine lettuce leaf, place a burger patty on top, add a generous scoop of fattoush salad, and sprinkle with feta cheese and tahini sauce if desired.
- Wrap the lettuce leaf around the burger and enjoy!
