Ingredients
- Almond flour - 100g
- Ground walnuts - 50g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Butter - 50g, melted
- Erythritol - 30g
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Water - 60ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground walnuts, ground cinnamon, and erythritol.
- Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and press it into the bottom of a greased small baking dish (about 20cm x 10cm).
- Layer the remaining mixture on top, pressing down each layer evenly, and create a smooth top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the baklava is baking, prepare the syrup by combining water, lemon juice, and erythritol in a small saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
- Once the baklava is done baking, pour the warm syrup evenly over the hot baklava and let it cool.
- Cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve.
