Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100g
  • Ground walnuts - 50g
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 50g, melted
  • Erythritol - 30g
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Water - 60ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground walnuts, ground cinnamon, and erythritol.
  3. Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Take a small portion of the mixture and press it into the bottom of a greased small baking dish (about 20cm x 10cm).
  5. Layer the remaining mixture on top, pressing down each layer evenly, and create a smooth top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While the baklava is baking, prepare the syrup by combining water, lemon juice, and erythritol in a small saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  8. Once the baklava is done baking, pour the warm syrup evenly over the hot baklava and let it cool.
  9. Cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve.
