- Ground beef (80% lean) - 250 grams
- Ground lamb - 150 grams
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh mint, finely chopped - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Onion, grated - 1 small
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Cucumber, sliced - 1/2 medium
- Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground lamb, parsley, mint, garlic, onion, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the romaine leaves. Set them aside on a plate.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce wrap, topping with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and drizzling with tahini sauce.
