Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Cauliflower rice - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Mint - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon for brushing
  • Lemon - 1, for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, cauliflower rice, chopped onion, toasted pine nuts, parsley, mint, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into oval patties, about 2 cm thick.
  5. Brush the patties lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  7. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
