Ingredients

  • Ground beef or lamb - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef or lamb, almond flour, finely chopped onion, pine nuts, parsley, cinnamon, allspice, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic.
  2. Add water gradually to the mixture until it forms a dough-like consistency. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  4. Form the meat mixture into oval-shaped patties, about 2-3 cm thick.
  5. Grease the grill grates lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
