Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Ground beef - 100 grams
  • Onion, finely grated - 1 small (approximately 70 grams)
  • Garlic cloves, minced - 2
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Allspice - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, allspice, cinnamon, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined, then form into four equal-sized sausage shapes around the skewers.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the meat is browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the skewers from the grill and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
