  • Olive oil - 30 milliliters
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 60 milliliters
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Paprika - for garnish
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, ground cumin, and salt.
  3. Blend the ingredients until smooth, adding the water gradually to achieve your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
  5. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and sprinkle paprika and chopped parsley on top for garnish.
