Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Hummus - 200 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, diced
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and halved
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the whole wheat pita breads on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread 100 grams of hummus evenly on each pita bread.
  4. Sprinkle ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the hummus.
  5. Top each pita with halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, sliced red onion, and Kalamata olives.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the topped pizzas.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
