- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Harissa paste - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2 pieces
- Tahini - 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, harissa paste, minced garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix tahini and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust consistency with a little water if necessary.
- Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, and a generous drizzle of tahini sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
