Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red bell pepper - 1, diced
- Zucchini - 1 small, diced
- Eggs - 1 large
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Olive oil - for frying
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Add the diced red bell pepper and zucchini to the meat mixture and stir until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add it to the meat mixture along with the breadcrumbs. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small kebabs or patties, approximately 5 cm long and 2 cm wide.
- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the kebabs to the pan, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Fry the kebabs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil before serving.
