  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Olives (sliced) - 1/4 cup
  • Feta cheese (optional, crumbled) - 1/4 cup

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add the egg and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to a 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet and remove the top parchment paper.
  6. In another bowl, mix the mashed fava beans, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, and paprika until well combined.
  7. Spread the fava bean mixture evenly over the pizza crust.
  8. Top with sliced tomatoes, olives, and crumbled feta cheese if using.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
