  • Green onion - 1, sliced
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the cooked fava beans over medium heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the beans, stirring to combine.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Pour the tahini mixture over the warmed fava beans and stir gently to combine, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve the fava bean mixture topped with chopped parsley, diced tomato, and sliced green onion.
  6. Serve with warm pita bread on the side for dipping.
