Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as cod or haddock) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Skewers - 4 wooden or metal

Steps

  1. Cut the fish fillets into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley to create the marinade.
  3. Add the fish cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated fish onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
