Ingredients
- Romaine lettuce - 100g
- Radishes - 50g, thinly sliced

- Cherry tomatoes - 100g, halved
- Green bell pepper - 50g, diced
- Fresh parsley - 30g, chopped
- Fresh mint - 10g, chopped
- Pita bread - 2 pieces, cut into triangles
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Sumac - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the pita bread triangles on a baking sheet and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Bake the pita bread for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, sliced radishes, diced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced green bell pepper.
- Add the chopped parsley and mint to the bowl with the vegetables.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
- Break the crispy pita bread into pieces and add to the salad just before serving to maintain its crunch.
