Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 100 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breast to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add water and scrape any browned bits from the bottom to create a flavorful sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the sliced cilantro chicken drizzled with the sauce, alongside a fresh salad.
