Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Yogurt (plain, unsweetened) - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Skewers (soaked if wooden) - 2

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
