- Chicken breast - 400 grams
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Lebanese seven spice mix - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, Lebanese seven spice mix, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Serve hot with garlic sauce and a side of fresh vegetables or pita bread.
