Ingredients
- Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
- Chicken breast - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Bell pepper (any color) - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and toss them in the marinade. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Pre-cook the pizza dough in the oven for 5 minutes to ensure a crispy base.
- While the dough is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove the pizza dough from the oven and evenly spread the cooked chicken, red onion, bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes over the base.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top and return the pizza to the oven. Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the veggies are tender and the cheese is slightly melted.
- In a small bowl, mix tahini with lemon juice and a little water to thin it out.
- Once the pizza is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the tahini sauce over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
