Ingredients

  • Chicken livers - 300 grams

  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken livers to the skillet, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until browned on the outside but still slightly pink inside.
  5. Sprinkle in the ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine.
  6. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the livers are cooked through.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice.
  8. Serve hot with pita bread or on a bed of rice.
