Ingredients

  • Chicken livers - 300 grams

  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cauliflower - 200 grams, riced

Steps

  1. Rinse the chicken livers under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken livers to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in the ground cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the spices bloom.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the chopped parsley and lemon juice.
  7. Meanwhile, in a separate pot, steam or sauté the riced cauliflower until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Serve the spiced chicken livers over the riced cauliflower, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
