Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
  6. Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
