- Chicken breast - 400 grams
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
