Ingredients

  • Pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped parsley, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Take one pita bread and place a generous amount of the cheese mixture on one half of the pita, leaving space at the edges.
  4. Fold the pita over to create a semi-circle and press down gently to seal the edges. Repeat with the second pita.
  5. Brush both sides of the folded pitas with olive oil.
  6. Place the stuffed pitas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pitas are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before cutting them into wedges.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or yogurt.
