  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced

  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Pickled turnips - 50 grams, sliced
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, cilantro, mint, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape into patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, adding sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickled turnips. Drizzle with tahini sauce.
  8. Serve immediately with a side of fries or salad.
