- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped onion, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with pita bread or a side salad.
