Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Parsley (fresh, chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 2 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, pressing it firmly to ensure it holds together.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the kebabs with fresh vegetables and garlic sauce, if desired.
