- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, chopped parsley, chopped mint, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, allspice, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients well using your hands until fully combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into an elongated patty or cylinder around a soaked wooden skewer.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly brush with olive oil.
- Place the kafta skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
