Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together the tahini, lemon juice, water, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  5. Toast the gluten-free burger buns in a separate pan with the remaining olive oil until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on the bottom half of the bun, topping with sliced tomato, cucumber, and a generous drizzle of tahini sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of side.
