- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to break down.
- Add the sliced okra to the pot and stir well to combine with the tomato mixture.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the soup to a gentle simmer.
- Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the okra is tender.
- Stir in the chopped cilantro and lemon juice just before serving.
