Ingredients

  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon (2g)
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon (2g)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (3g)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons (30g)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced (3g)
  • Water - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (5g) for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes, then pierce them several times with a fork.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the sweet potatoes, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
