Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 400 grams
  • Garlic cloves, minced - 2
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and almond flour.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then form the mixture into 8 evenly sized kofta (oblong meatballs).
  4. Place the kofta on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the kofta.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the kofta are cooked through and slightly browned.
  7. Serve hot with a side of Greek yogurt or a fresh salad.
