Ingredients

  • Labneh - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams (optional for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the labneh, olive oil, chopped thyme, chopped parsley, minced garlic, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the labneh mixture into a small baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Drizzle a little extra olive oil on top for added flavor.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly puffed.
  6. If using, toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden, about 3-4 minutes, and set aside.
  7. Remove the baked labneh from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Garnish with toasted pine nuts if desired and serve warm with fresh vegetables or low-carb crackers.
