Ingredients

  • Feta cheese - 200 grams

  • Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Pine nuts - 2 tablespoons, toasted (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a small baking dish, place the feta cheese in the center.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the feta cheese, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped thyme, oregano, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper over the feta.
  5. Add the halved cherry tomatoes around the feta in the dish.
  6. Drizzle the lemon juice over the entire dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
  8. If using, toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
