- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Asian pear - 1/2, julienned
- Spring onion - 1, finely sliced
- Egg yolk - 1 (optional for serving)
Steps
- Start by freezing the beef tenderloin for about 30 minutes to make slicing easier.
- Once firm, remove the beef from the freezer and slice it thinly against the grain.

- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the toppings by julienning the Asian pear and finely slicing the spring onion.
- After marinating, plate the beef in a shallow dish, arranging it neatly.
- Top the beef with the julienned Asian pear and sliced spring onion.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for added flavor and garnish.
- If desired, place an egg yolk in the center for added richness before serving.
