Ingredients

  • Beef short ribs - 500 grams
  • Soy sauce - 60 ml
  • Brown sugar - 30 grams
  • Sesame oil - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 60 ml

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and water to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef short ribs to the marinade and let them soak for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off, and place them on the grill.
  5. Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top before serving.
