- Brown sugar - 30 grams
- Sesame oil - 15 ml

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 60 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and water to create the marinade.
- Add the beef short ribs to the marinade and let them soak for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off, and place them on the grill.
