Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 150 grams
- Warm water - 80 ml
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cabbage - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Carrot - 30 grams, grated
- Spinach - 30 grams, chopped
- Mushrooms - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (ensure halal)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, warm water, and salt. Knead until a smooth dough forms, then cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cabbage, carrot, spinach, mushrooms, green onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Set the filling aside.
- After resting, divide the dough into 10 small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle, about 8-10 cm in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal them tightly.
- Prepare a steamer over boiling water and place the dumplings in the steamer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. Steam for 15-20 minutes until the dough is translucent and cooked through.
- Serve the dumplings hot with additional soy sauce or dipping sauce of your choice.
