Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets - 300 grams
- Water - 500 ml
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sweetener (erythritol or similar) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Green onion (sliced) - 2 stalks
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Fish cake (optional, sliced) - 100 grams
Steps
- In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets. Cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly tender, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the gochujang, soy sauce, sweetener, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Mix well over low heat until the sauce is combined.
- Add the drained cauliflower florets back to the pot, stirring to coat them thoroughly in the sauce. If using, add the sliced fish cake at this stage.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is fully tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
