  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Green onions (sliced) - 2 stalks
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Carrot (julienned) - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the vegetable broth, gochujang, soy sauce, and sugar to the saucepan, stirring until well combined. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the tteok and carrot to the sauce, ensuring they are well coated. Cook for about 5 minutes until the tteok is softened.
  5. Transfer the tteok mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
