Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and zucchini to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant.
  5. Return the cooked tofu to the skillet, then add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
