Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and zucchini to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant.
- Return the cooked tofu to the skillet, then add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
