Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Mirin - 1 teaspoon
  • Nori sheets - 2 sheets
  • Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Radish - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Pickled ginger - for serving

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into thin slices (about 0.5 cm thick).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and mirin to create the dressing.
  3. On a serving plate, arrange the sliced tofu in a fan shape or neatly in rows.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the tofu slices evenly.
  5. Garnish with thinly sliced cucumber, radish, and chopped green onions on top of the tofu.
  6. Cut the nori sheets into strips and sprinkle them over the dish.
  7. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds on top and serve with pickled ginger on the side.
