  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice flour - 3 tablespoons

  • Bun (whole grain) - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 1 small
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
  3. Cut the pressed tofu into thick slices and marinate them in the sauce for at least 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine rice flour, chopped green onions, and grated carrot to create a binding mix.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  6. Take the marinated tofu slices and coat them with the rice flour mixture on both sides.
  7. Cook the tofu in the skillet for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Assemble the burger by placing a piece of lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by a tofu patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and cover with the top bun, then serve immediately.
