- Sweet Potatoes - 400 grams
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Green Onions - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin fries, about 1 cm thick.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with cornstarch to coat evenly.
- Add olive oil, gochugaru, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the bowl and mix until the fries are well coated.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
