Ingredients

  • Mung bean sprouts - 200 grams

  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, toasted
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, finely chopped

Steps

  1. Rinse the mung bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
  2. In a pot, bring a small amount of water to a boil and add the mung bean sprouts. Blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  3. Drain the bean sprouts and place them in a mixing bowl to cool slightly.
  4. Add the minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and salt to the cooled mung bean sprouts and mix thoroughly.
  5. Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion over the mixture and toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve immediately as a side dish or appetizer.
