- Mung bean sprouts - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onion - 1 stalk, finely chopped
Steps
- Rinse the mung bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the mung bean sprouts. Blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
- Drain the sprouts and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. After a minute, drain again and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blanched mung bean sprouts, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to mix well.
- Transfer the seasoned mung bean sprouts to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately or let it marinate for a few minutes to enhance the flavors.
