Ingredients

  • Mung bean sprouts - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. Rinse the mung bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
  2. In a pot, bring 100 ml of water to a boil and add the mung bean sprouts.
  3. Cook the sprouts for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender, then drain and set aside.
  4. In a pan over medium heat, add sesame oil and minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the cooked mung bean sprouts to the pan along with soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the sprouts are well-coated and heated through.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
