Ingredients
- Fresh mung bean sprouts - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Rinse the mung bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the mung bean sprouts. Blanch for 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crunchy.
- Drain the sprouts and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped green onion, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cooled mung bean sprouts to the bowl and gently toss until the sprouts are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and give it a final gentle toss.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
