  • Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 3 tablespoons
  • Beef broth - 500ml
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add the sliced beef to the pot, cooking until browned (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, red chili flakes, black pepper, and salt to taste.
  6. Add the shiitake mushrooms, zucchini, and tofu to the pot, allowing everything to cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Finally, stir in the chopped green onions, simmer for an additional 2 minutes, and remove from heat.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
