Ingredients

  • Zucchini - 2 medium-sized (about 300g)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash the zucchini and slice them into thin half-moons, about 0.5 cm thick.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender but still crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the chopped green onions.
  7. Transfer the stir-fried zucchini to a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
