Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Spinach - 100 grams
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, gently stirring until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Add the sliced red bell pepper and chopped green onions to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the spinach and soy sauce, cooking until the spinach wilts, about 2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds before serving.
